Violet Agnes Zaloom, age 94, of Lake Worth, Florida passed away at home on March 21, 2025. Violet was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 20, 1931. She is survived by her five children, Jeanmarie (Richard) Sayour, George M. (Joan) Zaloom, Jr., Nadine (Richard) Gabriel, Mona (James) Dowda and Paul (Kristen) Zaloom; fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren.
Violet was truly a woman of God, whose life was a reflection of the unconditional love and grace of Jesus Christ. She was full of life, always ready to share encouragement, and would not pass up an opportunity to meet a need, never expecting anything in return. She truly embodied the servant heart of God.
Even into their later years, Violet and George found great fulfillment in serving others through feeding the poor, ministering in the nursing home, and leading Bible studies. Violet’s legacy of her love for Jesus and her heart for her family and those without a family will be remembered by the many lives that have been touched by her.
Violet will be laid to rest at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida, where her husband George was recently laid to rest.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Samaritan's Purse.
