Col. Vance L. Turner

Col. Vance L. Turner, age 88, of Lake Worth, Florida passed away on February 29, 2024. Col. Turner was born in Jackson, Missouri on December 8, 1935. He was a retired 32 year Veteran of The US Army. Col. Turner was predeceased by his parents, Otis and Pearl Turner and siblings, Louise, Betty, John D., Shirley and Paula. He is survived by his two sons, Mark (Donna) Turner and Stephen Turner; step-daughter, Jodi Ferrini; grandchildren, Teal (Ross Lockwood) Turner, Trea (Kristen) Turner, Stephen Turner, Ben Turner, Adam Turner, Jillian Turner, Vinnie Ferrini, Cari Ferrini and Diana Pryor; sisters, Burnetta (Leon) Jones and Carol (Richard) Griggs. Col. Turner will also be lovingly remembered by other family members and many friends who will miss him dearly.

Col. Turner will be laid to rest with Military Honors at 12:30 PM on Friday, March 15, 2024 at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida. Please assemble in Lane #1 by 12:15 PM if attending services at the cemetery on Friday.
