Ted Castleberry

On June 15, 2023, Ted Castleberry of Hobe Sound, Florida passed away. He was 80 years old. Ted is survived by his loving wife, Dori of Hobe Sound, Florida; devoted daughters, Tammy Castleberry Russell (Kelley)of Jupiter, Florida and Tina Castleberry of Fort Worth, Texas. 
Ted was blessed with bonus children from previous marriages; son, Robbie Hogan (Melissa) of Newnan, Georgia, and daughters, Cindy Farris (Chris) of Lithia, Florida and Karen Calhoun (Grover)of Spartanburg, South Carolina. Ted left behind many beloved grandchildren; Jessica Stewart (Ron), Courtney Wiggins (Whit), Michael Nolan, Savannah Acquaotta (Dylan), Emily Castleberry (Lasean), Joshua Pochowski, Gabrielle Russell, Bobby Hogan (Holly), John Hogan (Nicollete), Joe Hogan (Lani), Kaylan Taylor (Chance), Shaleen Inman (Steve), Nikki Stephens (Joey), Chase Farris, Chance Farris and Krissie Farris (Allen). 
Ted was also the proud great grandfather of Wyatt and Arya Wiggins, Aiden and Dakota Acquaotta, Connor and Mariah Stephens  and Layla Wooten. 
Ted’s surviving siblings are sisters, Mary Chason (Tom) and Diane Fletcher,  and brother Joe Castleberry Jr.
Ted was also a loving uncle and cousin. 
He is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Lillie Mae Castleberry and Theodore and Anne Greene and brother, Carl Edward Castleberry.
Ted was born on March 1, 1943 in Corinth, Mississippi. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1963 and was quickly chosen to be a member of the Honor Guard at the funeral of President John F. Kennedy.  After serving in the Army, Ted joined the family Auto Parts business, PAPCO, where he and his brother-in-law eventually became owners. 
If you knew Ted, you would have wanted to be one of his dogs. He was the best human to his dogs Dakota and BJ, whom he loved more than anything. He was a lifelong Georgia Bulldogs fan, Go Dawgs, and enjoyed fishing and playing golf when he was healthy enough to do so. 
Lastly, Ted was a true friend and loved by all who knew him. His friendships date back as far as 65+ years.
