Shea Thomas Winkle, 41, of Lynchburg, Virginia, entered into eternal rest in West Palm Beach, Florida, on December 25, 2023.
Shea was born in Royal Oak, Michigan, on June 3, 1982, to Bebe N. Landsman of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Thomas W. Winkle of Rochester Hills, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Imogene and Early Nester, and Evelyn and Frank Winkle.
Shea grew up in Michigan and attended high school in Virginia at Virginia Episcopal School, before attending Oakland University in 2004, while pursuing an education in graphic design and advertising.
Shea had a fulfilling career in web design as a graphic designer and web developer; but his real passion was creating and producing music. Early in his career, Shea captured the essence of Detroit’s techno landscape, not only creating new music but as a performing artist, as well. He was exceptional at many things, but cultivating meaningful friendships and creating music were his favorites. His love for music truly stemmed from his love of bringing people together. He impacted the lives of many with his kind heart and compassion. A true friend to all.
Shea loved well and was well loved. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and many friends.
A celebration of Shea’s life will be on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Thomas Road Baptist Church in Pate Chapel in Lynchburg, Virginia at 1:30 p.m., and reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
