Santos Ramos was born in Guayama, Puerto Rico; his parents were Julio Ramos and Juana Perez. He was married to Yessenia, a loving husband for 34 years, a great father, brother, son, and friend. He came to Lake Worth, Florida, very young and forged a respectable life. He was a hard worker of many skills and an overall handyman, but he spent most of his working years managing nurseries, primarily Charles Greens Nursery, as well as his own business. He liked music and was a self-learner of the guitar, which he often played for his wife at home, playing a “romántica serenata” or romantic serenade as they used to do back in the days to court a lady. Above all, he liked the traditional folkloric Puerto Rican music but was a romantic at heart. He was known among his family and friends for his joyful spirit, always ready with a joke to make everyone around him laugh. He was a strong character with strong beliefs who lived on his terms, as the Frank Sinatra song would describe: My Way, or the Spanish version: A Mi Manera.
He is survived by his wife Yessenia, children, grandchildren, brother Felix, goddaughter, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
