Sandra Joyce (Lyons) Dubeau

Sandra Joyce (Lyons) Dubeau, 82, loving mother, grandmother and aunt, passed away on November 13, 2024. 

Sandy was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts, graduated from Attleboro High School, and made her home in West Palm Beach, Florida for 50 years. She received her Associate's Degree at Palm Beach State College. Sandy was a devoted follower of Christ and an active member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in West Palm Beach where she served as a Lectern, Eucharistic Minister, led Grief Share, attended and led CHRP retreats, as well as Bible studies. For the last two years, she was a resident of Bristol, Virginia and attended St. Anne's when physically capable.

Sandy was a devoted employee of the Catholic Diocese of Palm Beach for over 20 years. She was part of the Stewardship Team, and worked on financial posting, reporting, and fundraising matters. Sandy was a beloved part of the community at the Pastoral Center, and was regarded as smart, warm, and kind. She spoke with pride about her children, Michelle and Barry, and her grandchildren, and was so interested in and proud of their activities and accomplishments. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Lyons, mother Beatrice (Dumas) Lyons, her husband Raymond Dubeau, and brother-in law Robert Dubeau. She is survived by her son, Barry Dubeau of Bristol, Virginia, daughter, Michelle (Kirk) Dreiser of Brandon, Florida, grandchildren, Josiah, Christopher, Nathan and Abigail Dreiser, her brother Richard Lyons, nephew Raymond Lyons, sister-in law Judith Dubeau, nieces and nephews Mark, Anne-Marie, Terry, Matthew, and Christopher Dubeau, and Jennifer (Dubeau) DeBaggis as well as several great neices and nephews, cousins and other extended family. She valued people and relationships very much, and was excellent at keeping in touch with everyone, and letting us know she cared. 

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 12n at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, at 345 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida 33415, with lunch afterwards in the parish hall. Burial Services will be on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 130p at Queen of Peace Cemetery, at 10941 Southern Blvd, Royal Palm Beach, Florida. All are welcome to attend.
