Salvatore F. Alessio, age 94, of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away January 10, 2021.
Mr. Alessio was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and a retired New York City Police Officer.
He was predeceased by his wife June F. Alessio in 2020.
He will be lovingly remembered by his family, including his children, Nicholas F. Alessio, Helaine M. Alessio (Greg Wilhelm), Diane J. Spindel (Glenn), grandchildren, David Spindel, Zachary Wilhelm, Jessica Wilhelm, Kurt Wilhelm, Erika Wilhelm, Christopher Alessio, Frances Alessio-Reed, Nicole Alessio, great-grandchildren, Liam Wilhelm, Xavier Reed, Audriana Reed, sisters, Jenny Eavarone, Margaret Aloisio.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 390 South Sequoia Drive, West Palm Beach. Inurnment with Military Honors will follow at 1:00 PM at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth. Please assemble in Lane #3 by 12:45 PM if attending services at the cemetery on Tuesday.
