Ruth E. Bloodgood

Ruth Bloodgood, Age 92 of Royal Palm Beach Florida, beloved Wife of John Bloodgood died peacefully in her sleep on January 13, 2019.  She is survived by her niece Kathy Kelly and her husband Jim, her three nephews, Walter Finken and his wife Mary, Dennis Finken and his wife Pat, Dan Finken and his wife Sue,  predeceased nephew Paul Finken and his wife Kathy.  She had many great nieces and nephews that all loved her so much. Also survived by her best friend and neighbor Mari Cayouette.   Ruth was born in Brooklyn ., New York on 8/28/1926 to Walter and Catherine Finken. She had one Brother Walter, who married Margaret Woltjen.  Ruth worked until she retired from the Singer sewing machine company.  She married her best friend John Bloodgood and lived in Bethpage, N.Y. until 1982, then moved  to Royal Palm Beach, Florida.  She loved to travel and entertain her family.  She enjoyed playing cards and going to her community club house to play Bingo.  She had many friends.  

Arrangements will be made by Tillman funeral home in West Palm Beach.   Ceremony will be held in Pinelawn  Memorial Park in Suffolk County, New York, where she will be laid to rest with her husband John.
