Ronald W. Traver

Ron Traver, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and faithful friend, passed away on October 29, 2023. He was born on May 5, 1944, and his memory is forever engraved on the hearts of his family and friends.

Ron’s life was a testament to dedication and hard work. He worked more than 25 years as a truck driver, through which he demonstrated unwavering commitment to providing for his family. 

Ron was a devoted Christian and a committed member of his church. He had a passion for country gospel music and used his voice to glorify God and edify others. His music has left a lasting impact on everyone.

Ron is survived by his wife, Betty Traver, his daughter Tammy Witzen (and Donald Witzen, deceased), his son Ronald Steven Traver, his daughter-in-law, Dustine Traver, his granddaughter Lauren Traver, and his sister Becky Gillen. He was preceded by his father, Willard Traver, and mother, Lucille Traver. 

His family was the center of his world, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and the values he instilled in them.

In the light of his passing, we remember Ron as a man of unwavering faith, a devoted family man, and a source of joy through his music. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Celebration of Life officiated by Pastor Lonnie Buser, Sr. will take place at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at First Free Will Baptist Church, 1065 Jog Road Greenacres, Florida 33415.
