Pansy Raye Cain Upthegrove was born December 23, 1931 in High Springs FL. She met her future husband C.S. Upthegrove at the High Springs Church of God, and they were married just 9 days later. Their marriage lasted until death did they part.
Her Love and Faith in Jesus Christ led to her always being a part of the ministry pastoring with her husband for many decades. Her true love was always the mission field. She went on mission trips to Haiti, Israel, Central America and the Philippines, and supported missionaries faithfully.
She is survived by her children, Brenda, Sheldon, Ellen and John, 14 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great grandchildren. Our Mother was a wonderful Christian Warrior who fought the good fight. We are so happy she is once again with her Husband, Brother, parents and other family. As Christians we know this is a temporary goodbye. We miss her but know we will see her smiling face again.
A Graveside Service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Evergreen Cemetery, Okeechobee, Florida.
Arrangements are in the care of Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida.
“Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” I Cor 15:51-52
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.” II Tim 4:7-8
