Patricia Ann Wilson (nee Williams), age 90, of Lake Worth, Florida entered into eternal rest August 27, 2023.
Mrs. Wilson was predeceased by her husband, Donald O. Wilson in 1996. She lost her younger and last remaining sibling, Adrienne Williams Brady in 2021.
She will be lovingly remembered by her family, including her daughters, Mary Killeen (Brian), Terry Neal (Burt Reid), grandchild, Amanda Joy Neal, niece Hope Brady Balasis (Perry), niece Judy Williams, and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
A graduate of Palm Beach High School and a member of the Wildcat Marching Band and the Salvation Army Band Corps, Mrs. Wilson served as a court clerk in Palm Beach County for 53 years. She worked in the original courthouse, now a museum, in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida, as well as in both the wrap-around and new courthouse buildings through the years. When Patricia first started working in 1955, it was customary to know everyone who frequented the courthouse, from police officers to judges. Her handwritten recording of deeds in the many archived volumes will forever be part of public records and of Palm Beach County history. In 2004, the Palm Beach Post helped her celebrate 47 years of service: “She didn’t want to say exactly how old she is, but did note that she was 22 years old when she started in ’55. ‘Let them do the math,’ she said smiling.”
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida. Burial will follow at Lake Worth Memory Gardens.
The family will receive relatives and friends after 9:00 AM Saturday, September 2, 2023 at the funeral home.
