Pamela Jean Shaughnessy
November 26, 1948 — January 25, 2025
Boynton Beach
Pamela Jean Shaughnessy, age 76, of Boynton Beach, Florida entered into eternal rest January 25, 2025.
She was a graduate of Calumet High School and Michigan State University, and worked many years for Michigan Farm Bureau as an Internal Auditor. She and her husband later moved to Shreveport, Louisiana where she worked as Finance Director at the Cathedral of St. John Berchmans, and then to Boynton Beach, Florida to retire and to be near her family.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, selfless in all her actions and enthusiastic in supporting her family members and friends. She enjoyed sporty cars, coffee, and the pursuit of the perfect breakfast biscuit. While playing a major on-screen role in her grandson’s motion picture (still in production), she stole every scene she was in. Her chocolate chip cookies and brownies were unequalled.
Pamela will be lovingly remembered by her husband Raul Torres; sons Timothy Shaughnessy (Amy) and Brent Shaughnessy (Sara); grandsons Michael, Gabriel, Mark, and Matthew; and brother Carmen Sandretto.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 1:00 PM Friday, February 14, 2025 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, in Lantana, Florida. She will be laid to rest in a family plot in Calumet, Michigan with her parents and sister who preceded her in death.
Arrangements are in the care of Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida.
