Ora E. Owensby

February 27, 1954 — November 23, 2022

Ora Beth was survived by her loving husband, Oliver R. Owensby.

Her daughters Lisa McCall (West Palm Beach, FL); Donna and John Sellers (Miami, FL); Margaret and Ernie Tulfer (Durango, CO); Leighann Owensby (Springfield, MO).

Granddaughter’s: Jennifer and Greg Joy (Pembroke Pines, FL), Christina and Glenn Parkhurst (McDonough, GA).

Great-Grandchildren: Conrad, Lila, and Ryan.  

Brother: Bill and Jeannette McCall (Virginia).

Nephews: Jason and Natalie; Ryan; Andrew and Christina; and Daniel and Emily.

Great Nieces and Nephews: Autumn, Lila-Mae, Amira, Jeremiah, Owen, and Ezra.  

She was preceded in death by her Father, William McCall and her Mother, Lila McCall.

Ora was born in Atlanta, GA and resided in West Palm Beach.  

She graduated from University of Florida in 1977 with a Bachelor’s degree in Design and graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 1990 with a Masters of Arts in Geography; Urban and Regional Planning.  She retired from Palm Beach County Zoning after 22 years as a Site Planner II.  

She was involved with her church and different ministries over the years.  She had a love for the Lord that showed in everything she did.  

She touched many lives over the years and was a blessing to all of those around her.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.  

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida. The service will be officiated by Pastor Terry Townsend at 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
