Olga Bernard

Olga Bernard was born on September 16, 1932, to the late Pierre-Vilis and Louizelia Bernard in Pestel, Haiti, where she lived all her life until she moved to Florida on April 16, 2023. She peacefully passed on June 18 at 4 pm at St Mary’s Hospital in West Palm Beach.

She has six children: Jeannine, Wilfrid, Willio, Jean Robert, Gatro, and Guerline who learned from her how to live with love, integrity, and responsibility. They share together her passion for hospitality, business and, above all, for godliness. Olga loved Psalm 23. And I quote, “The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want .”

As a local entrepreneur, she dedicated all her life to provide people from all walks of life with services in the retail industry. They will never forget the kindness she always displayed daily. She was very grounded and full of insightful advices that will be greatly missed.

Olga survived by her sisters Marthe and Josette, her daughter Jeannine, her sons Wilfrid, Willio, Jean Robert and Gatro and nephews and nieces Ronald, Carline, Amos, Farah, Yanique, Meurope, Licio, Vital, Marie Linis, Josie, Jean Arnold, Neslie, Annouce, Marie Alcide, Alourdes, Judith, Alcy, Maxo, Guerdy, Madonna, Evans, Liviane, Johnson, Alma, Alcidas, Jean Renel Cherlee, Kelly, Jordany, Alexandro, Darline, Richard, Clenette, and her grandchildren Wilfrid Jr., Andy, Sarah, Carlin, Roodly, Wisman, Myslie, Camy, David, Bradley, Modeline, Vinson, Centia, Olguerme, and Methuselah, and sons and daughters-in law Odilien, Esterlin, Alice, Eveline, and Ermite.

Olga is preceded in death by her daughter Guerline, her parents Pierre-Vilis and Louizelia and her sisters Meurope and Gisleine and her brothers Alcide, Emile, Gesner and Saliba.

Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Friday, July 7, 2023 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL.

The Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00am on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 402 N M St, Lake Worth, FL.
