Thambi was born to Dr. Rama Rao and Suseela on November 1st, 1957 in Vizag.
From childhood, he was a musical prodigy, teaching himself how to play the drums. He became a popular drummer in the city as he played with bands at carious events.
After completing his education, he eventually joined his brother in Jamaica as a teacher for 4 years. He then migrated to the USA in 1986 and joined Darling International at that time.
He then married his wife, Sujata, daughter of Sundara Ramiah and Kusuma in Vizag. She eventually came to join him in the USA.
They lived in Chicago, where their only son, Sundeap, was born. They moved to Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and finally to Florida where he spent his final years.
He loved music, photography, and cooking as well. He became an accomplished and respected musician. He was kind, compassionate, a great father and a loving husband.
He is survived by his wife (Sujata), son (Sundeap), two older sisters (Suvarna & Uma), and one older brother (Subba).
The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida.
