Nancy Rose Samson (Bean), 86, passed away unexpectantly, but peacefully on Friday, November 24th, 2023.
Nancy was born on September 30, 1937 in Detroit Michigan, and is preceded in death by her husband, Thaddeus Samson in 1987 and daughter Norma Anne in 1971. She is survived by her adult children Carolyn Samson Elshamy (Magid), Paul Samson (Lori), Dr. Michael Samson (Ingrid), Gerard Samson (Annette), Mary Beth Samson Colachhio (Kerry), Stephen Samson (Cheryl Thompson), 8 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, Sister Debbie Thomas, and her beloved cat Tia.
Nancy graduated from Adrian High School and Sienna Heights University with a degree in Humanities. Nancy married Thaddeus Samson in 1957 and after spending time in Miami for their honeymoon, decided to call Miami Beach their new home and raised their 6 children in South Florida.
After moving to North Palm Beach in 1962, Nancy kept busy making a difference in the world by acting as a foster parent for children in need, was active with her husband in the Boy Scouts Troop 155 helping to organize monthly meetings at their home, worked at Publix for several years, and volunteered as a Eucharistic Minister where she visited nursing homes on a weekly basis. Nancy lived life her way with fortitude and tenacity.
Family will receive friends from 9:00 am to 10:00 am Saturday, December 16th, 2023 at Tillman Funeral Home, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Fl.
A Memorial Mass will be held in the chapel at Lourdes Noreen McKeen Residence, 315 South Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, at 11:00 am.
Burial will follow the service at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, 5601 Greenwood Avenue, West Palm Beach, Fl. at approximately 1:00 PM.
