Miriam Gaynor

Miriam Gaynor, 95, of Boynton Beach, FL, passed away August 11, 2021. She was born in Everett, MA, the daughter of Harry and Sadie (Draband) Diamond. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years, Sydney, and cherished son, Steven. Miriam is survived by daughters Leslie Gaynor and Sheree (Chuck) Stewart, brother Melvin Diamond, granddaughters Jennifer (Adam) Gaines, Lindsay Gaynor, Yvonne and Jaclyn Stewart, and great grandchildren Samantha, Emily and Rebecca Gaines, and Ava, Colby and Mason Sawicki. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Miriam was a devoted and loving wife, mother and sister to her six siblings. Prior to retiring to Florida, she loved living in Marblehead, MA with her family and excelled at her profession as a realtor in Salem. She faced the challenges in her life with fortitude, courage and grace. A three-time cancer survivor, Miriam was described as a “fighter” by all who knew her. May her memory be a blessing. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
