Michael Eric Furthman

Michael Eric Furthman of Wellington, Florida passed away on Thursday March 10,2022 at the age of 78. Michael was born to the late Frances and Edmund Furthman on September 26, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was predeceased by his wife Jan Pitcher Furthman. He is survived by his son Michael (Debra) Furthman, grandson Zachary Furthman and sister Gail Furthman of Cincinnati Ohio. He is also remembered by his stepdaughter Angie (Bobby) Sangiovanni of Lake Worth, granddaughter Sofia and grandson Michael Albanese.

Michael served in the United States Army in the 1^st battalion 38^th infantry as a medical specialist and was stationed in Korea from 1967 to 1973.

He then resided in San Diego, San Jose, Cincinnati and Palm Beach Florida. He loved to travel and in 2015 made the move to Boquete Panama, met many new friends there and was know as Miami Mike.

He missed his family and friends back in Palm Beach, Florida and moved back home in 2019. He loved to cook, always had a joke for you and loved his football games. He will be missed by many, especially his family and friends.

The Inurnment with Military Honors will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S. State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida. Please assemble in Lane #5 by 9:45 AM if attending services at the cemetery on Tuesday.
