Michael J. Chirillo

Michael Chirillo, 44 of Boynton Beach, passed away on January 6, 2025, with the love of his life and fiancée, Christal Barr, by his side. He was born to Gary and Susan Chirillo on May 23, 1980. Michael was born in Groton, Connecticut and later relocated to Florida with his family. 

To know Michael was to love him. His happiness, laughter and humor were contagious. He touched so many lives and the memories that he helped create will live on. He particularly loved to reminisce which gave him joy. Loyalty was very important to Michael. He was always there for his friends and family in times of need.

Michael was an avid fisherman and boater. He loved life on the water, and anything fast that could be driven on it. His other favorite activity was cooking, making up his own recipes, trying new foods and perfecting the dish with his own twist. Often, he is described as a good friend with amazing energy and one hell of a fisherman. As loved ones mourn the death of Michael, he wouldn't want sadness, he would want everyone to move forward and keep those lines tight. 

Surviving are Michael’s loving parents, Gary and Susan Chirillo of West Palm Beach, his two beautiful daughters, Destiny and Kayla Chirillo of West Palm Beach, his Aunt Donalyn (Robert) Johnson of Barefoot Bay and Oneida, NY, Aunt Kathy (Richard) Geraci of Overland Park, Kansas and Aunt Tracey (Al) Campagna of Harrison, Ohio along with many cousins and close friends. 

Michael is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Peter and Rose Chirillo and maternal grandparents, Harold and Anne Sehl. 

Memorial services will be held at 2PM, Sunday, January 19, 2025 under the direction of Tillman Funeral Home, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach. 12PM to 1PM will be set aside for family and friends may call at the funeral home from 1PM to 2 PM, prior to the memorial service.
