Matthew Thomas LaFiura Noon

Matthew Thomas Lafiura Noon, 42, of Delray Beach, FL, previously of Sudbury, MA, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022. He was a cherished son of Thomas and Francesca Noon. In addition to his grief-stricken parents, Matthew is survived by his former wife, Colleen Noon and their two beloved sons, Townsend and Corwin; his devoted brother, Christopher Noon and his fiance, Melanie Loura, his loving sisters, Katie Noon and her husband Jeremy Whitcomb, and Angela Noon; his six caring nieces and nephews: Ava, Lyla, Henry, James, Mia and Charlie; and many dear cousins, aunts and uncles. Matthew was preceded in death by his treasured grandparents, aunts and uncles.

At the young age of 16 he formed a start-up business while finishing high school and earning a degree from Boston College. He subsequently completed an entrepreneurial program at Harvard.

His true passion for the Green Industry led to the establishment of the 2nd largest turf care business in New England. Matt was loved by all and had a kind spirit and sensitive heart that allowed for a deep and natural connection with those in his personal circle and business associates alike. He became highly recognized in the industry as he began publishing numerous articles for the landscape industry's nationwide publications that garnered him much recognition while he mentored many newcomers to the profession. He was in the process of duplicating his success by a new start-up business in Delray, FL.

Matt had a passion for traveling around the world, reading and watching history documentaries. He enjoyed fishing, swimming and skiing with his sons. He would take daily evening leisurely walks with his best furry friend Myles.

A funeral Mass for Matt will be scheduled on Wednesday, June 8, at 9:30 AM at Ascension Parish (Our Lady of Fatima), 160 Concord Rd., Sudbury. The service will also be accessible via livestream at https://theascensionparish.com/church-online/
