Marlyn Barnard

Marlyn Barnard, age 75, of North Palm Beach, Florida, formerly of Mooresville, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. Marlyn was born on December 4, 1943 to the late Edward R. and Myrtle (Kinnett) Newsom in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was predeceased by her husband, Roger Barnard; grandson, Andrew Cahill; sister, Joan Linda Campbell. Marlyn will be lovingly remembered by her children, Linda S. Smith of Bloomington, Sharon E. Cahill (Fred Cahill) of North Palm Beach, FL and Donald C. Barnard of Mooresville; brothers, Adrian Newsom (Betty Newsom) of California, Dale Newsom (Barbara Newsom) of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Amber Smith, Aimee Smith, Michael Smith, Rachael Hagy, Ryan Hagy, and Autumn Barnard.

Marlyn worked at Northwood Elementary in Mooresville and later retired from Community Hospital after several years of service in the business office. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Mooresville, before moving to Florida.

Visitation will be held Thursday July 25^th from 4-8pm at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, 39 E High Street, Mooresville, Indiana. Funeral services will be held on Friday July 26^th at 10am in the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in Lincoln Memory Gardens, 6851 S Indianapolis Road, Whitestown, Indiana.
