It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Lang (93 years young), who went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 5, 2021. Marie will be remembered for her love of family, dedication to education and her devotion to God.

She was predeceased by her husband John, son Daniel, daughter Martha, brother Thomas, brother Mark, parents Vincent & Mae, brother-in-law Eddie Lang (Taffy), sister-in-law Katie (Lang) Godbee (Bill), and sister-in-law Suzie (Lang) Pileggi (Frank).

Marie was born in Iowa in 1928. She grew up on the family farm and graduated with an AA degree from Mt. Mary Jr. College (now Mount Mary College), Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1945. She met John Lang while in college and they were married in 1947. Marie was a “very special person” as quoted by many who have called with their condolences. She loved to laugh. She also loved to see Broadway shows and musicals. She loved to travel and traveled abroad with her husband John many times. Marie loved murder mysteries both in books and TV shows.
