Lysa E. Rancour

Lysa Eve Rancour (Leidner), 60, of Delray Beach, FL, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday November 20, 2022.

Lysa was born on February 5, 1962 in Huntington, New York, to John and Glory Leidner. She graduated from Haborfields High School in Greenlawn, NY and went on to earn a degree from Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA. 

After college, Lysa moved to South Florida where she had a successful career as a dispatcher for the Delray Beach Police Department. Following her career as a police dispatcher, Lysa worked for Northwestern Mutual in Boca Raton, FL. Lysa was a devoted and loving mother to Cole and Michael.

Lysa enjoyed cooking, creating memories, as well as hosting many family gatherings. She loved the beach and all of her pets. She enjoyed music, dancing and singing. But nothing brought her more pride and joy than her family.

Lysa is preceded in death by her parents and her eldest brother John. Lysa is survived by her sons Cole and Michael and their father Jeff Rancour, brother Michael Leidner (Kim), sister Glory (Rich Lorenzen), granddaughter Novi Eve, and many adoring nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 12:00pm, at Tillman Funeral Home, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL.
