It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Louis Leon Williams, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at Trustbridge Care Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, after a long battle with cancer.
Louis was born September 14, 1952, in Jersey City, New Jersey. He resided there until the age of 5, when he moved to Hollywood, Florida with his mother. Louis graduated from Hollywood Hills High School.
He pursued his undergraduate studies at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity, before earning his law degree from the University of Florida College of Law. He practiced law in West Palm Beach since 1978, serving his community with dedication and integrity.
Louis was a member of the West Palm Beach Rotary Club, the Florida Bar, and multiple other professional organizations. He was also an avid golfer and member of Mayacoo Lakes Country Club where he served as President during a period of his membership.
He is survived by his cherished wife of 35 years, Wanda Williams; her family members Linda (John) Toscano, John (Penny) Wiersma, and Susan (Leo) St. Laurent; his nieces and nephews Danielle, Austin, Justin, Jesse and Erin; his cousin Janet Fucci and her husband Bob Fucci; and his goddaughter Lisa Fucci.
Louis was a devoted husband, a loyal friend, and a kind-hearted person who touched the lives of many. Louis's memory will remain in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in peace.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by The Very Reverend Gavin Badway at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Following Mass, there will be a reception in the parish hall.
