Lilian Hortensia Reyes

Lilian Hortensia Reyes, age 91, of Lake Worth, Florida received her eternal reward with her passing on April 16, 2025. She lived a faithful, long life and was the bedrock of her family; always setting the example as to how to live a Christian life with humility, compassion and charity for others.

Lilian was born in Camaguey Cuba in 1933 and graduated in 1956 with an accounting degree from the Universidad de La Habana. She married the love of her life, Miguel Angel Reyes, in 1959 and emigrated to the United States in 1962. She made her home in Palm Beach County where she continued her accounting career until retirement in 1999. Besides her family which was her pride and joy, Lilian's other passion for the last 50 years was the Cuban American Club in West Palm Beach which she proudly and enthusiastically supported to promote her heritage and culture. She was the true "first lady" of the Club where she enjoyed countless memorable times over the years with her many friends.

Lilian was predeceased by her parents Eladio Koch and Dolores de Quesada as well as her sister, Alicia Philyaw. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Miguel of 66 years, and her children, Miguel Reyes (Russ), Lillian Reyes, Ricardo Reyes (Rosa), and Ignacio Reyes (Alicia), along with her grandchildren, Natalie (Cris), Ricky (Kiera), Josh, Alex, Cristina, Cristian and Gaby, and her nieces & nephew.

The family will receive relatives & friends 5:00-9:00 pm Monday at Tillman Funeral Home, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida, where the rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10:00 am Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at St. Therese De Lisieux Catholic Church, Wellington, Florida, with the Very Rev. Alfredo I. Hernandez as celebrant.

Burial will follow at Lake Worth Memory Gardens.

Immediately following burial, the family will receive guests at The Cuban American Club, 886 Pike Road, West Palm Beach, Florida 33411.
