Katherine Irene Raines

September 26, 1940 — July 26, 2021

Katherine Irene Raines (Riggins;Moss) was born on September 26,1940 in Montgomery, AL to Jane and Hershel Riggins. Kay went to be with the angels on Monday, July 26,2021. Kay is survived by her sister, Patricia Ake and her two daughters; her three children Jamie Hand, Preston Moss, and Timmy Moss; her eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Kay lived a blessed life full of love, laughter, and sharing stories with all she knew. She was greatly loved by her family and friends, and loved nothing more than spending time with them. She also loved working as a respitory therapist for 43 years.

A celebration of life will be held at Freedom Park in Greenacres, FL on Saturday July 31,2021 from 3-6. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Trustbridge Hospice of Palm Beach County, or Peggy Adams Animal Rescue.
