Judith Howard Trapp, age 100, of Palm Beach Gardens, passed away peacefully Thursday evening. Judy was under the good care of Trustbridge Hospice at Palm Beach Medical Center. She was predeceased by her husbands, John Howard and Charles Trapp.
Judy will be lovingly remembered by her two children; Mark Howard and Karlene (Carnes) Weherley; their spouses, Carla Howard and Steve Weherley; her grandchildren, Haylee Howard, Stephen Carnes, Barbara Carnes and Parker Carnes; and great grandson, Casey Carnes.
Judy was born in Sugar Grove, Ohio in 1920. She was a graduate of Ohio State University. After graduation she was employed by the Coca-Cola Company where she met her husband, John. Living in Miami, Florida, they became very active in the community as well as Riviera Country Club. She was a member of Kendall United Methodist Church.
After John passed, Judy moved to the Palm Beach/Stuart area where she met and married Charles Trapp, formerly of Grosse Pointe, Michigan.
Judy enjoyed the past 15 years at Devonshire in the P.G.A. National community, relishing the time with her close friends, playing golf and traveling. She was active with the Salvation Army as well as a member and supporter of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her name to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church or the Salvation Army.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 29, 2021 in the Peace Chapel of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 3395 Burns Road, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida 33410.
