Judith Strickland Loftus

Judith Strickland Loftus, age 80, of West Palm Beach, Florida entered into eternal rest February 26, 2024 after a long and brave battle with cancer. 

She was born and raised in Leesburg, Florida. She graduated from Leesburg High School and moved to Miami and enrolled in business college.  She graduated and got a job at Pratt and Whitney where she met her husband, John. 

Judy had a love of nature, natural habitats and the environment. This was seen in the work she did and the way she led her life. She worked for the Palm Beach Zoo, Pine Jog Environmental Center and Grassy Waters Preserve. She also was a volunteer for Yesteryear Village for many years which gave her a chance to share her knowledge and love of Florida History. 

Judy was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, John Loftus.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend.

She will be remembered by her family, including her daughters, Rose L. Nothhelfer (Timothy), Kathy L. Casey (Richard), grandchildren, Sebastian Nothhelfer, Harmon Casey, sister, Janice Adkinson (Jim) and nephew, Ryan. 

A Memorial Service will be held 12:00 PM Monday,  March 4, 2024 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida, the Rev. Greg Sherman celebrant. Inurnment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach, Florida.

The family will receive relatives & friends beginning 11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home.
