John Henry Holland IV, a resident of Delray Beach, Florida, passed away on March 5, 2023, at the age of 43. John was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia to Robin and John (Jack) Henry Holland III.
John had an impressive academic background, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from Virginia Military Institute, a Master's degree in International Trade from Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia, and an MBA in Aviation Management from Lynn University.
Prior to his commercial real estate career, John served in the US Army for six years on Active Duty as a 150U, working with Unmanned Aerial Systems. His service allowed him to travel to South Korea, Afghanistan, and Kuwait to work on incredible projects.
John's love for aviation was strong, and he earned his Certified Flight Instructor ratings to become an instructor with aspirations to join commercial airlines. In his younger years, John was an adrenaline junkie, skydiving and base jumping all over the world. He loved cooking for his family, with his smoked brisket and ribs filling the neighborhood with its aroma. John also had a passion for F1 racing and had a deep love for his red lab, Sir Puckly Holland.
John met the love of his life, Lindi, and they began their life together in Delray Beach with their three energetic dogs and a cat. They were thrilled to announce their pregnancy and couldn’t wait to get married. So much that they went to the courthouse just the two of them to make it official with plans to celebrate their love in a big way after their baby girl was born.
John is survived by his wife, Lindi DiMaio Holland, their daughter, Maisie Jane Holland, his parents, Jack and Anita Holland and Robin Holland Williams, his sister, Alana Jade Holland, and his grandmother, Rose M. DiVine.
Funeral Services for John will be held at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 11:00 AM. The family will receive relatives and friends beginning at 10:00 AM. John will be laid to rest with Military Honors at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida. Those attending services at the cemetery on Tuesday are asked to assemble in Lane #3 by 10:45 AM.
