Jesus D. Rivera

Jesus D. Rivera, age 80, of Greenacres, Florida passed away on October 6, 2020. Jesus was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on March 21, 1940. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Liljana Rivera; son, Kenneth (Peggy) Rivera; daughters, Renee (Steven) Cordova and Brandie Rivera; grandchildren, Brooklynn, Carla, Kenny and Sierra; great granddaughter, Arianna; sister, Maria; niece, Angelina (Scott) Wilson; sister-in-law, Karen Milev.

Jay had an irreplaceable spirit that was the perfect combination of both kindness and love, which made him a wonderful family man. He always offered his time to others whenever he could, without ever wanting anything in return. Jay was a funny man with an impish smile that always gave away his true, playful nature before speaking a word.  He enjoyed traveling with his family and making memories, while taking pictures of those moments. If you were lucky enough to know him, you had a friend for life. We find peace in remembering his endless love, remarkable life lessons and all of the incredible memories. We miss him dearly and will carry on his legacy by being benevolent, supportive, making sure to laugh and live life to the fullest.
