Jeffrey John Brown of North Palm Beach, FL passed away peacefully at the age of 56, surrounded by the love of his wife, Ashley Amanda Brown (Satterfield), formerly of Conway SC, and his brother Bruce Brown, of Palm Harbor, FL. Jeffrey was born in Wurzburg Germany in 1966 to his mother, Sonja Skelton of Dunedin, FL. He is predeceased by his father, Barry Brown, formerly of Windermere, FL. He also has a beloved step-father, Bob Skelton, of Dunedin and step-mother, Dianne Brown of Windermere. Jeffrey was a good man, and thorough. He was a gentle soul that loved being in nature, hiking, biking, cooking for friends, caring for pets like his ancient cat, Marley who survives him but not without protest. He was a wonderful storyteller, the first to offer to help, and had a heart of pure gold. Most of all, he loved watching films and had an extensive knowledge of the art form across many genres and decades. Jeffrey worked for Whole Foods Market, in Palm Beach Gardens, FL as a cheesemonger for many years and he was a Certified Cheese Professional with the American Cheese Society. He also worked in the service industry in Birmingham, AL for twenty years and was awarded "Birmingham's Favorite Bartender" in 2005. He loved University of Alabama football and would greet you with a hearty "Roll Tide" every time he saw you.
A Memorial Service will be held in Dunedin FL, at Andrews Memorial Chapel on May 28, 2022 at 2:30 PM. There will also be a celebration of life Sunday, July 3, 2022 held in Birmingham, AL.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Cahaba River Keeper (www.cahabariverkeeper.org) back in Birmingham, AL, or to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (pancan.org). Most of all, Jeffrey would want for everyone to be a little kinder to each other, to the earth, and to animals, and most of all "Enjoy Every Sandwich"
