Jean Theresa Manniello Bohn, loving Mother, Wife, and Friend passed away March 29th, 2021 at the age of 77. She was a long time resident of Freehold, NJ before retiring to Lake Worth, Florida. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Eleanor Manniello. She is survived by her friend and ex-husband, Parker Bohn Jr., two children; Parker (Leslie) Bohn, III of Jackson, New Jersey and Cindy (Chuck) Bohn-Morris of Lake Worth, Florida; her 10 amazing grandchildren: Parker Bohn IV, Evan Bohn, Justin Bohn, Brandon Bohn, Sydney Bohn, Danny Burrows, David Burrows, Noelle Burrows, Lyndy Morris and Mikey Morris. She also has two great grandchildren Raia and Sabin and many nieces and nephews.
Through the years, Jean loved spending time with her family and celebrating the beautiful joys of life. She enjoyed traveling, sunny days at the Jersey Shore, picnics, bowling, shopping, taking pictures and of course, her many adorable Chihuahuas. She developed a passion for art and loved sharing this knowledge, especially with her grandchildren. Jean hosted art classes in the community center where she lived and they were enjoyed by the residents. Jean was employed as an Executive Director for the New Jersey Tournament of Champions for 36 years. This non-profit organization spearheaded by Jean, helped thousands of children with disabilities participate in athletic events all across New Jersey. Her love for athletics was initially developed as a young bowler and softball player.
Today we celebrate Mom's life and will carry her passion to help individuals with disabilities through a bowling scholarship. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests those wishing to make a donation in her memory to consider the Jean Bohn "I Can & I Will" Bowling Scholarship. 906 Hurley Rd., Jackson, NJ 08527.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 6th from 3:00 PM-5;00 PM with services immediately following at the Tillman Funeral Home, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida.
A "Celebration of Life" is also being planned in June in New Jersey.
