Helen Gutheil

Ieke Helen Bowman/Gutheil, age 89, of Lake Worth, Florida, passed away on March 25, 2020.  Ieke was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 4, 1931 to Retta and Robert Vander Baan.  She graduated in 1952 from Indianapolis General Hospital School of Nursing and served as a Registered Nurse for 42 years.  After moving to Florida, Lake Osborne Presbyterian Church became her church home.  Ieke was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank Dean Bowman, Jr., and Walter C. Gutheil; parents, Retta and Robert Vander Baan; her sisters, Shirley Jean Vander Baan, and Betty Jo and her husband Gus DeWitt.  She is survived by her son, Robert Dean (Sherry) Bowman; daughter, Linda Kay Pusateri; grandchildren, Regina (Brian) Adams, Jake (Brittany), and Justin Pusateri; great grandchildren, Daelin and Alyssa Adams; sister, Francis (Harold) Amonett; brothers, Ralph (Pam) Vander Baan, and Bob (Terri) Vander Baan.  A graveside memorial service will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Washington Park East Cemetery, 10:30 am.  The Rev. Dr. Gregg C. Pusateri will be officiating.
