Ellis D. Lane

Ellis D. Lane, age 88, of Lake Worth, Florida passed away on January 12, 2024. Ellis was born in Hickman, Kentucky on February 18, 1935. He was predeceased by his sons, Richard, Johnny, Terry and David; grandson, Jack; brothers, Carmen, Swayne, Roy, Leaman and Herschel; sisters, Christine, Deema and Brenda. Ellis is survived by his wife of 70 years, Loretta R. Lane; daughters, Lisa (William) Allman and Sheila (Rodney) Ferguson; his adopted daughter, Dawn Fresch; grandchildren, Brandy, Melissa, Nikki, Wade and Rosie;  great grandchildren, Julian, Calvin, Athena, Lily, Korben, Dawson, Jayden, Abigail, Anastasia and Anabella; great great grandchildren, Jayden and Ivy; sisters, Wanda Sue Bonds, Linda Russell. Lois Harrison and Joyce Jewell. Ellis will also be lovingly remembered by other family members and many friends who will miss him dearly.

A Funeral Service for Ellis will be officiated by Pastor Jake Mannon at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 20, 2023 at Central Baptist Church, 4422 Gun Club Road, West Palm Beach, Florida. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time at the church on Saturday. Following services, Ellis will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in Lake Worth, Florida.
