Eleni "Helen" Kefalides, age 80, of Lake Worth, Florida passed away on September 17, 2023. Helen was born in Greece on January 30, 1943. After moving to the United States as a teenager, Helen built a life centered around family, hard work, and creating the tastiest Greek desserts. Everyone was welcome in her home and around her table. Our self-proclaimed "Helen of Troy" will be remembered for her feisty sense of humor, over the top holiday decorations, and tender heart.
Helen, was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas Kefalides and her son, Peter Kefalides. Helen is survived by her son, George (Ashley) Kefalides; grandchildren, Nicholas (Jillian) Kefalides, Alex (Nicole) Kefalides, Anthony (Elizabeth) LeDuc and Danielle LeDuc; great grandchildren, Evan Kefalides and Elleana Kefalides; brothers, John Vavoulis and Teddy Vavoulis; sister, Alice Vavoulis.
A Memorial Service will take place at 4:00 PM on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, West Palm Beach.
