Edmund P. Hughes

Edmund P. Hughes, age 88, of Greenacres, Florida passed away August 24, 2020.

Mr. Hughes was a U.S. Navy Veteran of Korea, and a member of the American Legion. He was an active parishioner at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Lake Worth, where he was treasurer of the Men's Club.

He will be lovingly remembered by his family, including his wife of 62 years, Eileen T. Hughes, children, William P. Hughes (Mary Jo), Barbara Gilmore (Timothy), Edmund G. Hughes, grandchildren, Connor, Kate, Valerie, Julia, Anne, sisters-in-law, Karen Hunter, Elenore Hunter, brother-in-law, Thomas Hunter (Ellen), nieces, Patricia Hughes, Ellen Braaf, Kathleen Cassidy, Maureen Hunter, nephews, Robert Hunter, John Hunter, and favorite cousins, The O'Donoghue's.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Lake Worth, the Rev. Clem Hammerschmitt celebrant, time and date to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to: St. Matthew Catholic Church, 6090 Hypoluxo Road, Lake Worth, Florida 33463 in memory of Edmund P. Hughes.
