Dorothy B. Colvin

Dorothy B. Colvin, age 89, of Jupiter, Florida passed away at home on June 24, 2020. She was born at home in Baltimore, Maryland on September 23, 1930. Her sister, Mildred Mae Theiss, helped to welcome her into the world. Dorothy and her sister were raised on a farm by foster parents, Mr. & Mrs. German. It was there that she discovered her love of horses and nature.

As a young woman, Dorothy worked as an operator for the government where she met her husband, Richard B. Colvin. They spent 45 years together and raised two daughters. Dorothy enjoyed the arts and was a gifted painter.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard in 2008. Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Linda (Mark) Sharone and Nancy (Gary) Brann; grandchildren, Aaron (Elissa) Sharone, Ashley (Jacob Shamblin) Sharone and Melissa (Michael) Coleman; great grandchildren, Christina Coleman and Angelica Coleman; sister, Mildred Mae Theiss.
