David Arthur Guderyon, age 71, of Wellington, Florida passed away May 6, 2019. David graduated from Lake Worth High School, attended Palm Beach Junior College, and joined the United States Army as a Military Intelligence Agent. He served in Vietnam the last 6 months of his tour.
He was a Deputy Sheriff in Palm Beach County from 1969-1976. He was a General Contractor at Berkshire Builders in Royal Palm Beach Acreage, a Construction Loan Officer for Royal Palm Savings Bank, and Supervised Construction of New Schools and then Supervised the Portable Classroom Division for the Palm Beach School District.
He volunteered as Ambulance Driver for Saves Ambulance, was Cub Master for Pack 124 in Royal Palm Beach for 5 years, coached Baseball for Royal Palm Beach Youth Athletic Association and was active in the Royal Palm Beach Jaycees Service Organization.
David will be lovingly remembered by his family, including his wife, Christine A. Guderyon; children, Matthew Guderyon (Fawn), Phillip Guderyon; grandchildren, Jacob, Raylynn, Jade and David; sister, Barbara Gempel; niece, Lisa; nephew, Timothy Coyle, Jr.; mother-in-law, Rita Zabelny; brother-in-law, Arthur Zabelny, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Susan Coyle (Timothy) and Laurie O'Donnell.
A Memorial Service will be held 12:45 PM Monday, May 13, 2019 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, the Rev. Jack Hamilton celebrant. Inurnment with Military Honors will follow at 2:30 PM. Please assemble in Lane 1.
