Clarisa Vargas, age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her beloved family in Lake Worth, Florida. Clarisa was born in Matagalpa, Nicaragua. She is survived by her daughters Ileana (Deleno) Vargas Austin and Clarisa (Axel) Lopez, and her grandchildren Axel and Aiden Lopez. Clarisa was preceded in death by her loving husband Jaime (1997). A beloved aunt who raised 6 nephews. They called her Tia Calita and she became the mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother to their wives and next two generations of children. She will be remembered as the matriarch of her family, the best story teller, the best cook, the best confidant, and the star of a love story only known in fairy tales. 

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida. A Service officiated by Pastor Ruth Damico of Christ Fellowship-Boynton Beach Campus will begin at 12:15 PM at the funeral home on Sunday.
