Cathleen Ann Jackson

Cathleen Ann Jackson (Pinner), age 61, died on Thursday, November 22, 2018. Cathleen is survived by her beloved husband, James Matthew Jackson and siblings, Danny Pinner (Brenda), Mary Jo Griseuk (Steven), Michael Pinner, Tim Pinner (Teri), Billy Pinner (Ann), Suzy Mellema, Sharon Pinner; beloved aunt of Cara, T.J., Janie, Georgia, Paul, Lucy, Kelli, Anthony and Jacob. Cathleen had more nieces, nephews, as well as grand nieces and nephews on the Jackson side of the family. Cathleen and Jim were married 18 years and lived in Lake Worth, Florida. Cathleen dedicated 30 years of service to the State of Florida working for the Department of Transportation and Department of Health. Most of Cathleen’s career took place at the DOT’s Palm Beach Operations Center as the Office Manager. Cathleen, a true Chicagoan, was an enthusiastic fan of the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs! Cathleen touched so many lives it is difficult to imagine life without her here on earth. Her friend Beatriz Isaza of 30 years shared a deep friendship expressing the true meaning of “Best Buds”! They would often attend Broadway plays and loved experimental theatre and foreign films. Cathleen was kind and generous not only to those that she knew, but she never really met a stranger. In the warm hospitality of Cathleen and Jim’s home we often danced on the pool deck under the night sky and stars!  We cherish the memories of love, laughter and song! Rest in Peace Cathleen!

A Celebration of Life will take place at 2:00 PM  on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida 33415. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home on Saturday.
