Beverly Boger of Atlantis, Florida passed away peacefully on May 31, 2022, after a long illness surrounded by her loving family.
Beverly was born in Yonkers, N.Y. on July 4, 1939, to Jean and John Osika. She was educated in Yonkers and spent most of her life in the New York and New Jersey area before retiring with her husband to Atlantis, Florida in 2000. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Lawrence Boger. Beverly was a devoted and loving mother of four children, Maryann, Adriene, Claire (Helen) and Lawrence (Lorraine), a loving grandmother of two grandchildren, Genevieve, and Anthony, one step-grandchild, Christopher (Danna), and two step great grandchildren Harlow and Jude.
She was an amazing parent and a devoted wife. Beverly lived her days unselfishly committed to the needs of others and the dreams of her children. She raised all of them to be independent, to think for themselves, to work hard and to never forget your family. She was kind, humble, compassionate, and generous. There was nothing she would not do to help anyone in need. Her greatest joy was being together with her family and relatives at holidays, birthdays, and special events that she would host and prepare her favorite meals that everyone enjoyed. Beverly enjoyed the beach, traveling, golfing, reading, cooking, and baking. She volunteered her time, talents, and treasure to the Church, where she was an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist and a Lecturer and served as an officer and active member of the St. Luke Council of Catholic Women.
Beverly was from a family of eight brothers and sisters. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers Richard, Robert and Joseph and sister Maryann and survived by sisters Brenda and Thomasina and brother John.,
She leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, and kindness.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Tillman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2170 Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Tuesday June 7, at St. Luke Catholic Church, 2982 Congress Ave., Palm Springs, FL.
