Antonio Castro Jr., known for his dedication and passion in the hospitality industry, peacefully passed away on April 15, 2024, in West Palm Beach. Born on September 7, 1939, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Antonio devoted more than 20 years of his life as an operations manager, leaving a lasting impact on those he worked with.

Described as a true gentleman by many, Antonio's kindness and compassion touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy in the hospitality industry will not be forgotten, as he strived for excellence and inspired those around him to do the same.

He served the USS Navy on the USS Epperson DD-719. That after serving ten years with the navy he relocated his family to Alexandria, Va. He worked as an electrician for Alto before starting his own business in Air Conditioning. He went to be an engineer for Marriott's first hotel they started in Arlington, Virginia called Twin Bridges. He went on to become chief engineer there as well as in Crystal City Marriott and Crystal Gateway Marriott both in Crystal City, Virginia. He went on to work for Marriott Headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland overseeing new projects as operations manager. After working for them over 30 years before he retired he worked for Clark Construction in building projects throughout the country.

Antonio is survived by his loving children: Jose Castro, Victor Castro and Lisa Gertner. He will also be fondly remembered by his four grandchildren: Natalya, Amanda, Jack, and Raymon.

In loving memory of Antonio's late wife, Gracia Castro, their love story continues as they reunite for eternity. Their bond was a true example of love and commitment that will live on in the hearts of those who knew them.

Antonio Castro Jr.'s presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of crossing paths with him. May he rest in peace, knowing that his memory will forever be cherished by family, friends, and colleagues alike.
