Anthony Provenzano

Anthony Provenzano, 87, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2023 at home, surrounded by loved ones. 

Anthony was born in New York City on April 17, 1936. He grew up in Manhattan.  After graduating high school, he enlisted in the Army. His commitment to our country was unwavering, and his service will be remembered with gratitude.

He met his beautiful wife at his friends sister’s 18th birthday, and it was love at first sight . They married August 8, 1958 and started their life in Hazlet New Jersey. After retirement from PSE&G they moved to West Palm Beach, Florida. He was active in his church community, even joining the Knights of Columbus, and becoming a Grand Knight.

Anthony and his devoted wife, Josephine, celebrated an incredible 64 years of marriage together.  They shared a passion for dancing, traveling the world, cruising the seas and creating cherished memories that will forever live on in the hearts of their loved ones .

He is survived by his wife, three children, seven grand children, and seven great grand children who will carry on his legacy with love and respect. 

Anthony’s life was a testament of resilience, love and adventure.  He will be remembered for his service to our nation and his love for his family. 

A service to remember and celebrate Anthony's life will be celebrated by Rev. Chamindra Williams at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, located at 390 South Sequoia Drive, West Palm Beach, Florida 33409. He will be laid to rest with Military Honors at the South Florida National Cemetery, which is located at 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33467. Please assemble in Lane #3 by 12:45 PM if attending services at the cemetery on Tuesday.
