Anthony M Halasz of North Palm Beach, FL, formerly of Boston, MA, Grantham, NH, and Biddeford, ME, passed away on July 4, 2024 with his wife by his side, as she had been for forty-two years. Born in Budapest, Hungary on Dec 21,1928, he was the younger son of the late Miklos Halasz and Juliana (Meisel) Halasz Fodor, MD, stepson of the late Imre Fodor MD, and brother of the late Imre Halasz and his late wife Stephanne Sutton of Boston. He is survived by his loving wife Joan Monahan of North Palm Beach. Beloved brother-in-law of John Monahan, Susan and Bill Callahan, Bob and Jill Monahan, Marybeth and Brian Harnett, Jane and David Mullen, eight wonderful nieces and nephews, and seven great- nieces and great-nephews. Partner with his brother in the firm ImreAnthonyHalasz, Inc, Architects,Planners, Designers, Boston, MA.
In retirement he became a printmaker, studying at the School of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and teacher of Italian, both of which brought him more friends and accolades. Graduate of the Polytecnico di Torino (Dottore di Architettura, 1954) Veteran of the U.S. Army, Korean War era. No services are planned.
