Antonio Francisco Sarabando

Mr. Antonio Francisco Sarabando, age 72 of Wellington, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at Palms West Hospital following a brief illness. Mr. Sarabando was born September 7, 1936 in Vagos, Portugal to the late Abel & Emelia (Condeco) Sarabando. Antonio lived in Sleepy Hollow, New York where he worked for General Motors until retiring, after 30 years of service, in 1992. Antonio was a member of St. Rita's Catholic Church and moved to Wellington in 1993 from New York. Antonio is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Maria (Dos Anjos) Sarabando; sons, Antonio Sarabando of Mount Laurel, NJ and Luis (Marissa) Sarabando of McAllen, TX; Antonio is also survived by a brother and 2 sisters living in Portugal. A Mass of Christian Burial for Antonio will be celebrated 10:00 am, Monday, August 24, 2009 at St. Rita's Catholic Church with Father Francisco Osorio as celebrant. Interment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, August 23, 2009 from 2-4 pm at the funeral home with a Prayer Vigil Service at 3:00 pm.
