Jane Elizabeth Walters

Jane Elizabeth Walters, age 79, of Palm Springs, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009. Mrs. Walters was born January 7, 1930 in Sardis, Mississippi to the late Albert & Clarice (Miller) Proctor and moved to West Palm Beach in 1964. Mrs. Walters was a member of Palm Springs Baptist Church since 1991. She is the beloved mother of Sherrie (Joe) Hall and Pam (Steven) Conley both of West Palm Beach; Rod (Christine) Walters of Fort Payne, Alabama and Rob (Jan) Walters of Telford, Tennessee. She was the special grandmother of Jennifer and Kimberly Conley both of West Palm Beach; Julie, Jason and Jarrett Walters of Fort Payne, Alabama; Faye Rudisill and Tim Walters of Tallahassee, and Samantha Walters of Telford, Tennessee. She was the great grandmother of Shyann Rudisill of Tallahassee; Troy Bertot and Arianna Elizabeth Fino of West Palm Beach. She is also survived by her sister, Caren (Dave) Dunn of Knoxville, Tennessee and her sister-in-law Edith Bruce of Haughton, Louisiana. Funeral Services for Mrs. Walters will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Palm Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Luis officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Worth Memory Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at TILLMAN FUNERAL HOME, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Palm Springs Baptist Church, 3300 10th Avenue, North, Palm Springs in memory of Mrs. Walters.
