Age 86, previously of Lake Worth was united with his heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 15th, 2009. He was a loving husband, devoted father and faithful servant to God and country. He was predeceased in death by his wife of 60 years, Norma Strickland and his son, Dennis Strickland, Jr. Marshall was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, 6th Marine Division. He fought valiantly in WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart. He enjoyed a career as a cement mason and was a member of the Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers. He was instrumental in building the original First Church of the Nazarene in Lake Worth where he worshipped. He leaves to cherish his memory: Daughters Pam (Jim) Ponce and Elaine (Darrell) Sager, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A service will be held on Saturday, December 19th at 10AM at Tillman Funeral Home, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach with Reverend Bill Buettner officiating. Internment will be held at Pinecrest Cemetary in Lake Worth. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7PM to 9PM on Friday, December 18th
