Mario J. (Sonny) Agri, Jr.

Mario J. (Sonny) Agri, Jr. Age 89, of Greenwich, CT and Lake Worth, FL, passed peacefully at his home on Tuesday, December 23, 2008. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 68 years Josephine Agri. Born January 10, 1919 in New York City, son of the late Mario and Millie Agri. He graduated from LaSalle Military Academy in Long Island, NY and attended St. John's University. He also served as a Sergeant in WWII. Besides his wife, Sonny is survived by four daughters, Camille Agri Gentile and her husband of Simsbury, CT, Noreen Agri of Stamford, Ct, Jill Noel Nagel and her husband of Greenwood, MN, and Monica Agri Bowes and her husband of Bethel, CT; and seven beloved grandchildren as well as two great-grandchildren. To those who knew Sonny he will long be remembered by the many friends he made laugh and who enjoyed his company in NYC, CT, and FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 27, 2008 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Lake Worth, FL. The family will receive relatives and friends 2:00-4:00 PM Friday at TILLMAN FUNERAL HOME, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach.
