Allen D. Dabney

ALLEN D. DABNEY Age 85, of West Palm Beach, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Palm Beach County in Atlantis on September 22, 2009. Mr. Dabney was born on January 12, 1924 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late William J. and Estella Dabney. He served in The US Army for four years then moved to West Palm Beach in 1947. In 1986 he retired from Kraft Foods. He will be greatly missed by his family and all that knew him including his wife of 61 years, Gerry (Iler) Dabney; children, Donna (Dan) Fleenor, Peggy (Ron) Appleton, Judy (Greg) Chase & Bill Dabney; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Mr. Dabney will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 25th at TILLMAN FUNERAL HOME, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach with Reverend Donn Brammer of First Christian Church of West Palm Beach officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 24th at the funeral home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
