Mary A. Walsh

Age 90, of Lake Worth, passed away at home on August 1, 2008 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 26, 1918 in New York, NY. Mary lived in Lake Worth for 14 years coming from Queens Village, New York. She was predeceased by her husband, James William Walsh in 1960 and her two daughters, Madeleine R. Dodson in 2000 and Christina M. Hackett in 2007. She is survived by her daughters, Joan M.(Robert)Dowd of Anderson, SC, Elaine W. Thieben of Royal Palm Beach, FL and Diane L. Lopez of Oakland, NJ. She will also be lovingly remembered by her 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Monday, August 4, 2008 at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Lake Worth with Reverend Clem Hammerschmitt celebrant. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at TILLMAN FUNERAL HOME, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach where prayers will be said at 7:30 PM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, New York.
